Residents and graduates of various levels of the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP), including Advanced, Basic, and Intermediate levels, represent a valuable asset in the global fight against infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, and other public health threats. FETP provides the trainees with the necessary tools and training to conduct epidemiological research and contribute to the scientific literature world-wide. Kenya FELTP residents and graduates across all training levels play a pivotal role in generating scientific evidence through a substantial number of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals to inform public health policies and interventions.
