RECRUITMENT OF COHORT 19 OF THE ADVANCED EPI TRAINING LEVEL

In June 2022, the Kenya FELTP through the Ministry of Health initiated the recruitment of cohort 19 residents to the
FELTP Advanced level Epidemiology training program. Seventy one applicants were shortlisted. During the interviews held on the
11th of October 2022, twenty applicants were selected for training. The interviews were conducted by the Ministry of Health, in conjunction with
the various key stakeholders of the program.
The 2-year training in MSc. Field Epidemiology will be offered by Kenya FELTP in conjunction with Moi University.
The successful applicants reported for training at FELTP offices on the 28th of November 2022 and underwent
orientation by FELTP members of staff between 28th and 30th of November 2022. Kenya FELTP members of staff
participated in the orientation.
