2022 FELTP COMPLETION CEREMONY
On Tuesday the 2nd of August 2022, the program held a joint completion ceremony for cohort 16 residents of the Advanced level and cohort 2&3 fellows of the IMPACT Masters Program who had acquired the competencies required by the training. The Program awarded each of these residents & with fellows a certificate of completion. The best 3 residents from each training program were also awarded a gift by the program.
Some of the key guests who graced the event include: Dr. Francis Kuria, Director Directorate of Public Health; Dr. Terrence Lo, FETP Coordinator at CDC Kenya; Dr Sarah-Blythe Ballard, President's Malaria Initiative (PMI) Advisor at CDC; Dr. Samson Ndege, Lecturer & Chair of Department, Epidemiology and Biomedical Statistics department, School of Public Health, Moi University; Providence Jepchirchir, Academic Coordinator at Moi University, Nairobi Campus; Dr. George Otieno, Lecturer and IMPACT Liaison at Kenyatta University.
The residents & fellows now wait for graduation from their respective universities.
